I Spy a Duke by Erica Monroe

Erica Monroe (http://ericamonroe.com/) does not write your typical regency heroine. Nope. Erica's heroines are unique and not afraid to mix it up. Or blow it up. Her newest series is called Covert Heiresses. The first book, I Spy a Duke, is out at all major retailers.

When the governess is a spy...

The Duke of Abermont has a secret: he's a spy. Whole family is. It's part of their heritage. And it just becomes more fun from there.
The problem is that the Duke needs a governess. The one he gets has plenty of secrets of her own. But, when her secrets are revealed, it is to a man who has already fallen for her. From there they race to learn the secret behind her brother's death and stop a killer in his tracks.
This story is so unique, especially when the new Duchess is learning combat fighting, that my brief summary does not do it justice. There were moments of laughter. Moments of anger. Moments when you wanted to smack someone. When an author can create such an emotional response in her readers, she is doing a good job.

Final word: Looking forward to the next book
