June got away from me. My husband took a 2 week business trip to SWEDEN. Let's not talk about how jealous I was about not getting to go along with him. Instead, I stayed home and played at being a single parent for those 2 weeks.
I survived and Thrived!
The bedtime routine from H.E.L.L. got fixed. For the first time in 6 years, I do not have to sit in a room with a child while that child falls asleep. Sure, I made the best of it over the last 6 years. It was also BEYOND time to stop doing it. And, with my lovely husband gone, I couldn't be in 2 rooms at once, so I fixed the issue and now my kids go to sleep solo.
And I loved it!
And, as soon as my husband got home, we had family visit. Three different sets of family. So, yeah, it's been busy. But I'm back with some amazing books to tell you about. Check them out below.

Princess Posey is a twelve book series (complete) about a first-grader named Posey. My daughters love it. We started reading the series on book 12 and then, after we finished it, went back and started at the beginning. I read 5 chapters per night and each book has 10 chapters -- so it takes us 2 nights to finish a book. We wish Stephanie Greene were still writing the series.
The Regular Guy by Elicia Hyder
Strangers to Superfans by David Gaughram
Other news...
I took a course offered by Sterling & Stone called Clocking Out at the very end of June. Two whole days of live training. Extremely motivational and brain overfilling information. Again, another place for steps forward toward a better writing business.
The best news relating to that course is that I am outlining a new series which will be my first YA Fantasy. I wish I had a title to give you, but it refuses to show up. The outline is at 9,994 words long and set to double before I'm finished. Yes, a 20,000 word outline. Guess what? That's a freakishly good outline to write a book from. I know so much already and it gets better with each pass. If you're a fan of YA Fantasy, I'm currently reading Dragon School. I highly recommend. I've also been busy translating all of my published Easy Readers into Spanish and French. If you've got a prek-4 or kindergartener learning to read, please do check out the series I wrote with my eldest while she was in kindergarten. I'm going to head off for tonight. I'll post the July books in August. Yes, there will be more Princess Posey books!
