Turning my blog over to PJ Fiala to tell you about her latest release: Missing the Point!

Hello. This is PJ Fiala, author of steamy romance on wheels. I've got a new book out in a new locale, Chandler County, Kentucky! Hope to Derby winners and lots of fun!
Why I decided to write this series: my grandparents are from Kentucky. My great-grandmother got divorced way back when getting a divorce was a major thing. Think social stigma and shunning. When she remarried, her new husband accepted my grandfather, but he never quite got over the divorce.
When he was 16, my grandfather fudged his age and got into the Army. After boot camp, he came back once to marry my grandmother and then they went off to live an Army live full of travel. After my grandfather retired from the Army, they settled in Missouri.
Now my grandmother went back regularly to visit family, but my grandfather choose not to. Deep scars there. When I got older, I got to travel with my grandmother and meet all of my extended family members. I loved it. And, when the opportunity to write about a couple in Kentucky came my way, I knew I wanted to capture all the love and fun times I remembered.
Stephany Tullis and I created Chandler County as a labor of love and multiple authors have opted to join us by writing stories there. I hope you'll enjoy all of them, starting with my first release, Missing the Point.
Sam McKenzie is an Army veteran who has finally retired after 25 years.  He and three of his friends have started Bluegrass Security in the little town of Bourbonville, one of two towns in Chandler County.  As the Kentucky Derby nears, the over-flow of people coming to Chandler County brings with it trials and tribulations and as the locals deal with these and other scenarios, we get to know many of the residents in Bourbonville.
Stephanie (Stevie) Jorgenson is a detective in Chandler County.  Though she comes from a wealthy ranch family, she made her own way in the world and followed her dreams.  Keeping Chandler County safe is her top priority.  When she meets the handsome security specialist from Bluegrass Security, there is an immediate spark and the two succumb to the attraction, but neither believes anything more should come of it.  Life, circumstance and intrigue follow the pair as they are thrown together time after time dealing with some terrible situations in Bourbonville.
